The Diversity4kids project was developed over two years, from 2013 to 2014. Its aim was to offer staff from primary schools and teachers from halfway houses joint training on the theme of diversity and gender in early childhood.

Diversity4Kids training offers :
It will be given by trainers from the 4Motion association in the Luxembourg language. They will emphasise a participative and interactive approach that aims to put what is learnt directly into practice in the participants‘ daily lives. It will be tailored to their needs and expectations.
The staff of halfway houses and basic schools in the Mullerthal region.
Diversity4Kids is recognised as part of the UFOCOR continuing education programme, is also recognised by SCRIPT and is supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry for the Family.
The Diversity4Kids course was created by the MEC asbl, based on the Gender4Kids course initiated by the equal opportunities departments of Bettembourg, Dudelange, Esch-sur-Alzette and Hespérange, in collaboration with the educational partner 4Motion.
It is part of a project funded by the LEADER Mullerthal local action group.
The Diversity4Kids project received a Diversity Award from the Lëtzebuerg Diversity Charter Committee, with support from the European Union’s Progress programme and the Ministry for Family, Integration and the Greater Region.
