class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), <strong>\u2018quality of life is a combination of psychological, physical, social and material factors that assess an individual&#8217;s well-being\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p><p>In today&#8217;s society, public authorities are constantly developing programmes and policies to improve the quality of life of their citizens, either generally or for a particular segment of the population. Assessing quality of life is therefore a concept that should not be overlooked, as it can enable social bodies and associations to better target the needs and expectations of a population. It was therefore timely to look at a more local, regional approach that was closer to the target population and its needs. The quality of life study that we are proposing will therefore be the first to be carried out in the Mullerthal region.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div collaboration with the <strong>TNS Ilres<\/strong> polling institute.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e541753 elementor-widget font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); font-size: 1rem;\">, inviting them to take part in the survey via<\/span><strong style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: 1rem;\"> a link to a website and a personal access code.<\/strong><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); font-size: 1rem;\">. Participants then had to enter the <\/span><strong style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: 1rem;\">code <\/strong><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); font-size: 1rem;\">and start answering the questions.<\/span><\/p><p>The questionnaire was <strong>available in French, Luxembourgish, Portuguese and English.<\/strong><\/p><p>To persuade residents to take part in the survey, <strong>a tombola<\/strong> was organised with many prizes to be won, consisting of regional products or activities. In all, <strong>some forty vouchers were distributed<\/strong>. This was also the occasion for the draw for the raffle prizes. <strong>The winning codes were published on the MEC asbl website from 10 March 2021<\/strong>.
